WAVINCITY presents <Ambience on Ambience>, an experimental album created by Peter Wong Tsz Kin, founder of the Hong Kong Urban Soundscape Recording Project, exploring the environment and atmosphere associated with the term "ambience." The album features recordings from Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, and the Outlying Islands, which have been transformed into ambient music, challenging the conventional norms of music listening.

The album consists of four tracks, each lasting 15 minutes, which is also the standard length of WAVINCITY's sound recordings, offering a total listening time of one hour. As a dynamic and ever-changing city, the soundscape of Hong Kong is constantly evolving, and WAVINCITY's mission is to capture these diverse sounds and turn them into an artistic creation. This album represents Peter's in-depth exploration and presentation of Hong Kong's urban soundscapes. By incorporating city sounds into the music, the album creates a non-linear and irregular musical effect, breaking away from traditional music structures and generating a new musical experience.
